AMG Noob needs advice

I just picked up a 2004 CLK55 AMG and I couldn't be more thrilled. I drove it cross country and it performed (almost) flawlessly the entire 2000 miles (mostly old Route 66). I am nicknaming the car Madman because of the unbelievable sound and performance. Like a rocket on wheels.
Here are my questions:
For about 3 days I kept throwing P0171/P0174/P0172 codes. Would this be a MAF/02 sensor issue or could it be something as simple as bad gas? I have taken it to 2 different dealers now. The first said because there was no light currently on not to worry about it. The second did an emmissions test and replaced the gas cap and seal. I called my local dealer today and the mechanic told me not to worry about it if the light is off. I would like to get to the bottom of this as the warranty will be up pretty soon.
I have been trying to purchase an extended warranty but so far even the dealer will not sell me an extended warranty on an AMG. Anyone have any ideas or recommendations for a US based "A" rated warranty supplier or do I have to do self insurance? I shudder at the thought when I look inside the engine bay.
I have been going dizzy looking for a repair manual similar to the Bentley that I have for my Porsche. I can't seem to find anything.
I would certainly appreciate any suggestions or help.
