hello gents yes i have a weird question,maybe not so weird .well ill get toit,ive currenty got a 2006 dodge charger with 5.7 tranny matted to a 5a580 trans.ive been told by kleeman that the amg 65 and 55 are direct bolt ins to the carminus the flang which canbe swaped in.the basic questionis thisto those that either know or have the amg"s in question how much parasitic torque loss is there to the wheels.ive been told that trannys in general loose about 18.5% .ive been mulling over a 6 speed manuel or this amg tranny ,which tranny would be better 9 in terms if parasitic lose.im only thinking that since amg"s are awesome vehicles would the trannys not be effected by the lose orare they effected just the same ? ive been told that the trans locks up every gear.forgive my knowledgeon these vehicles since there arent many around andsince i cant go rent one from avis i have to ask around.thanks in advance.
