Weird Electrical Problems - 350SDL
Was so thrilled to have my 350SDL back after solving an overheating problem (bad radiator)
so I took it for a spin and wanted to treat it to a car wash. Pulled into the automatic car wash
and powered the window down to pay by credit card and powered it up before entering. After
the car wash, not only did the windows not work, but the wipers did not work and the power
seat did not work ! I checked the fuses and all looked good. Later in the afternoon after
checking the fuses, the power seat did work but the others did not. Hate these kind of pro-
blems so any help is deeply appreciated. BTW, it was a high pressure touchless car wash.

Brass holders and aluminum on the fuses makes electrocorrosion.
Corroded aluminum is silver, like the original aluminum, so you can't tell the difference with bear eye, but corrosion makes bad contacts, that will get worse with moisture.
Get copper fuses.
Hopefully this is that easy.

Yup, it was that easy. After your first inquiry, I decided to re-inspect the fuses and
since I had copper replacement fuses in the holder, I changed them and voila, it
worked. Thanks loads.
