I have recently bought a 2005 C55 and i am thinking about putting on a supercharger. My question is two parted. First can the transmission handle the added power? (It seems to me that in its stock form you have to shift the car early to keep it from hitting the rev limiter. ) Second, what other mods must be done to the car in addition to the supercharger to protect the car from the added horsepower? (ex: injectors, filter, ecu, brakes??)

While i am thinking of it, who makes a better supercharger? RennTech or Kleemann?

 

i would think kleeman is the better model and cheaper also.
