Window Trim ripple

Default Window Trim ripple
How do I get rid of the ripples on my door trim?

I was thinking of using a heat gun and a flat iron (unplugged) to straighten it out. If anyone has a better idea or technique, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Found out that it was just cheap plastic. Recycling bin it goes.
