Hi, I have just got receipt of and installed the AMG aluminium pedal kit for my c220 (w204) from CKS performance. Although the brake and foot brake replacements were just replacement rubbers the accelerator pedal was a whole unit inc the small ECU on the side. I replaced it this morning. The units look identical except for the 'new' unit having an earlier 2010 date of manufacture, and installed straight forwardedly. However should I be concerned about engine, software, throttle response etc now in swapping such a key component?? Please help!
