Whirring coming from the front end?

Whirring coming from the front end?
Have rotated the tires, no change. While driving the whirring subsides as i turn to the right. No squeaking is heard, just this whirring. Could this be a wheel bearing?
The car is a 1980 300 SD and it is straight, never hit. Suggestions please (-:
