Well just got done with my headgasket & t-chain guides on my 89 300e 3.0l.It went well but I have a prob maybe you can help.There is a pump or something under the intake that has an adjustable linkage on it.when I hook it up it idles way high.It is adjustable & wondering if I should adjust it.Also I have a veauum line that is black & it goes to a check valve then to a sensor in front of the engine which has 2 nipples.Could someone maybe let me know where it goes.IM GOING CRAZY TRYING TO FIGURE IT OUT(short trip)Thanks

Thanks sleepwalker that would be a great help.My vin is -WDBEA30DXKA919040.I found out the pump I was asking about was indeed the cruise pump.I adjusted the linkage & good as new.Thanks again.

thanks for the info.It solved my vacuum mystery.Would you happen to have any ideas why I get poor flow from my heater/defrost.It seems like it was great when I got the car but not so great now.I replaced the blower motor.I got it used.Thanks again.
