I noticed my daughter's car after initial starting would sputter for the first 12 seconds. After that, everything would be fine. I already changed Idle Control Valve, Fuel Pressure Regulator, and, also, the Cold Start Valve. I went to a garage shop and I was told it could either be the Fuel Injectors are bad, or, the Fuel Distributor. The mechanic did not hook up any test equipment. Since I have two units of newer looking used Fuel Distributors, I nstalled both of them. However, on each of them, the car won't start anymore,
Can anyone please direct me on the proper installation, what must have I done wrong?
Is this something the home mechanic cannot perform, are there test equipment required to calibrate or fine tune the FD for proper operation?
Please help.
