Hi All
Have a 78 450SL and have been trying to fix a trans leak.

After the car set for a while it stared to leak so changed pan gasket
as thought that might be it but no. Now it looks like the leak is coming from the bellhousing area, were before that area was dry but was leaking at the oil filler pipe connection.
The car has sat with out driving for a few years but has been started every month or so and let warm up. Before the leak was small and left a about 4 inch puddle over a few days, now twice that overnight after it has been ran some.
Any ideas?
