I have a 1999 C230 Kompressor with 205 60-15 tires and they have been noisy and wearing poorly for the past year. This is my first MB and I suspect that knowledgeable people could tell me which are the most quiet and best wearing tire for this car, please let me know your opinion on tires.

go to www.tirereack.com and order the Kumho kh11's in the size you have. I put the exact same size on my E320 and they are hands down the best tire I've ever had. Quiet, excellent in the rain, excellent grip on dry. Best of the best!! And the best part is they were only around $45.00 a piece. By far the best deal I've ever had and bought concerning tires. Let me know what you decide to go with!!

Thanks for the reply. I reveiwed the Kumho's and it appears they are summer only tires, what would you suggest for a car for Northern VA where there is a bit of snow inthe winter?

look up the Kumho KW11, they are more of a snow tire if that's what your looking for. The KH11's rate very well in the snow but not deep snow if that's what your expecting.
