I just purchased a 1999 SLK230 that needs new front tires. Any suggestions on brand? My main objectives are handling and a quiet ride. I live in south Texas so snow is not a problem.

michelin's are always good...or yokohamas.

I'm happy with Pirelli Pzero Nero M+S (don't drive it in the snow, but will drive in cold temps) on my 2001 SLK 320.
