Default Is there a more technical forum for Mercedes?

Is there a more technical forum on the web for older mercedes? Not that there is anything wrong with this one but it hasn't been any help for my technical questions concerning my 89 560SL.

Thanks,
MIke

The MercedesShop.com forum is probably what you're looking for, especially for older MBs.

I just read ur other posts. I dont know y sleepwalker never replied about the module but on the other post did u ever replace the spark plug wires thats what the problem was on my 560sel and i replaced the overload protection relay and now runs like new. Cause mine was doing exactly what u described. And if u need help just put Sleepwalkers name in the title so he will see it. He knows what he is doing.

BoominBenz, Thats exactly what I needed. Thanks!

mbz300sdl, I put spark plug wires on it a little over a year ago. Do you know where the overload protection relay is on my car?

Thanks,
Mike

On ur car no not exactly but it is right next to the firewall on my 560sel and has a 10 Amp fuse on top of it. The top of it should be red.

Mike:

I just started a new forum on the Mercedes Benz Club of America site for the W107. I am also the moderator for the forum.

to be interactive you have to joint the Mercedes Benz Club Of America. But you can vistor the foum.

The address is www.mbca.org, click on benefits on the homepage and then technical help. this will open up the forum and scroll down until you see New Forum W107.

Also, the answer you received here are right on the money.

There shouldn't be a comma. The link is www.mbca.org I just tried it and it took me to the Mercedes Benz Club of America. If your not a member you can read post, but you can't post. Sorry I didn't answer earlier, Had the knee operation and yesterday was the first day I was out of traction, with my leg 2' in the air.
