i have a 1997 sl500 the top was working fine and i had to change the alternator ,i drove the car for a couple days with the top down and no problems.i went to put the top up and it went up half way and quit, now the top and power windows dont work at all,i checked the fuses in the trunk and they are all good but the windows and top does not operate.
the top up and down switch is on solid red and flashes when i try to use .

thanks for any help
tried to disconnect battery again to reset no luck
