Snows on a CLK, Need help??
Hey guys,
I got a question for snow tires for my clk. My brother has an 2003 E500 and he has a set of 17" snow tires, they are in size 245/45/17 all around. I wanted to put them on my clk for the winter. I went to fit them on and the back dont rub at all with is still good but now in the front i kinda hear a rub on a very sharp turn, U-turn sometimes, i think it is rubbing where the control arm bends up towards the tire. Where you would connect the upper ball joint. I also see the spring housing coming very close to the tire, i was wondering on what i can do to make this work this winter.]
1) can i put 5mm or 10mm front wheel spacers in the front and it should make the clearence
2) can i adjust the damper on the strut to stay a bit higher?
Thanks guys for your help on this thanks
