Help ..Merc E200 W210 ..car starts runs ruff like 3 cylinder for about 10 seconds then car idles smooth .when i drive the car sends smoke out the exhaust ..grey ish in colour when the car has rund for a couple of miles the smoke stops car runs very well no more smoke ...any one have any idea`s ?

leaky fuel injector?
after you stop the engine, the fuel goes inside the combustion cylinder which causes rough running... and therefore smoke from unburned fuel...etc.
mine is just a guess.

Thanks sleepwalker :: i think my problem is deeper ...im also loseing a little water as well .The radiator overflow pipe is dribbling water from it ....i think the head gasket is gone .dosent appear to be a bad job ..would you folks use new head bolts when replaceing a cylinder head gasket ....any suggestiond welcome ....thanks
