having trouble locating the oil filter on my 05 c230 does anyone have a picture they can point it out to me or offer me guidence? also what tube is it for sucking oil out the red capped one or the one with the black cap that says mb workshop only? please help mobil 1 0-40 the best way to go?

 

the transmission dipstick pipe has a clip on it to secure it unless it was never replaced. mb workshop only is for transmission fluid.

 

The cap with MB Workshop only is for ATF, removal and filling.
The Oil filter should be visible as a black/dark blue (in my 2002 C200) cannister next to the engine block.
You will need a size 74mm (or is it 76 mm) socket and wrench to open it from above.
I prefer to drain out the old engine oil from under the car rather than use a sucktion pump through the dipstick hole.
