Hello, just sold my wifes Boxster and purchased her a very low mile
04 sl500 with AMG sport package for her. So far its an incredible ride!
I do have a couple issues I would like to resolve,
First of all there is a leak in the windshield washer reservoir, what is the best way to access the tank?
Second, the car has the optional massage seats and from what I am reading I may have an air leak or the PSE pump may be malfunctioning.
the light comes on for massage but all I hear is a fait click inside the seat.
the lumbar adjustments do not work as well. This issue is happening on both seats.
Does this pump run other accesories? I did notice the remote trunk release unlocks the trunk but it does not lift automatically. Is it supposed to lift by itself? I did replace the gas actuators as the lid would not stay up by itself. I replaced them with the OEM type and size.
Last ? the car has navigation and from what I am hearing its not a great system but the disk will not load when inserted. Is there a reset for this or do I need to remove the mechanism.
I have an electronics background and degree and
am probably a strong 7-8 on a scale of 1-10 mechanically and would like to tackle these issues myself. Any suggestions on these issues would be appreciated.
