S430 Navigation Repair SOurce

Can anyone suggest source to have navigation unit repaired. dealer states unit shorted out' yet unit turns on displays insert cd but will not read cd.

At a price of $4k there must be another way to go.

YES SOUNDS MORE LIKE CD DRIVE FAULTY CAN HAVE IT REPAIRED ITS A PITY YOU NOT IN UK ,COULD HAVE SORTED IT FOR YOU MATE
