rear window

I have a rear window that is stuck in the up position. I have taken the door panel off and found a loose cable. Im not sure where it hooks to on the window frame??? Can anyone help please

Would you mind telling us what model/year you have.

It sounds like you need a Window regulator replacement/repair.

I changed one for the back Window of a E320/1997. It was not difficult for me to do. Ordered the part on-line and it took me less that it would have taken to take it to the dealer and saved a few box.
