I have been reading on this forum about code readers and resetting codes and I would like to purchase a device that would help me do this. Can anyone suggest or recommend a device that would be good for a beginner? I am somewhat mechanically inclined and I always read instruction to get the answers. What is this device called? I have heard OBD11 or OBDII.

I would use it on my 01 CLK320
