It's a '55.

It's a "street rod."
350 cu
4-speed
front disc brakes
Ford 9" rear end

It still drives like an old tank, but it's almost as fun as sex to drive around in it.

Click that camera under my avatar to see my '70 Chevelle SS 454.

This might be a little off topic but as far as drivers go if a new driver has to rely on a driving school to teach them how to drive and not a proffessional driver ie: truck driver, bus driver, some cops, farmer (yes driving a tractor does make u a better driver). Then all bets are off cause driving schools at least in my area are horrible my dad was a truck driver from 1976 till 2004 and he grew up on a farm so that is who taught me how to drive not to mention i rode 4-wheelers since i was 10. A few of my friends are just terrilbe drivers cut people off and don't realize that they have done anything wrong. Its terrible.

The Skip Barber Driving School isn't like the one you're thinking of. If your friends attended that school, they could drive circles around you and your dad. No offense, but they're a well-known high-performance driving school.

Well Lug i was refering to the local get ur drivers license driving schools that everyone has to go to in maryland in order to get a license. There instructors were terrible someone would ask a question and the instructor would not know the answer it was quite sad so normally me or the one other person in that had some knowledge already would have to inform the instructor.

Yeah i know Skip-Barber is a good driving school. Back in 1976 my dad went to a well known (at least at the time) truck driving school in Homestead, FL its still there but i dont know the name of it.

No problem Lug.

Nice though i am more of a Pontiac and Oldsmobile guy when it comes to classic American GM cars. I wish i would have bought that 72 Toronado instead of letting my dad trade it for a damn boat last year even though the boat was worth more.

I'm hunting for a GTO. I want a '66 with a 389, tri-power, and 4-speed. I used to have one when I was a dumb kid. I'm not rich enough to get a '69 Judge.

I'm not much of an Olds fan. They made a couple of interesting muscle cars, but nothing that lights me up.
