I posted this question early but didn't receive a response so I'm hoping you can shed some light.

I have a 2000 E430 with a mysterious behavior. After a suspension alignment the steering wheel will be straight as the car tracks straight...everything fine....until I rotate the tires. The car will still track straight but the steering wheel is no longer perfectly level...currently slanted slightly to the right. No real problems but it drives me crazy as I'm always looking at it! This behavior has been consistent even through a new set of tires and different brand. Also the problem occurs whether I swap the tires front to back & right to left or simply front to back. What could be happening?????

Hi, I have a 1999 mercedes e320 and gas is flooding and leaking from charcoal canister shutoff valve. There is also gas in charcoal canister filter. Wondering if you could tell me what could cause this and what parts i will need to replace. Thank you very much.

I have an 87 300D Turbo with 126k miles, every thing is working great except the turbo is not producing boost to the engine. Any suggestions where to start troubleshooting? The recall on the turbo has been performed.
Not sure if there is a vacuum line, or something other then a complete turbo replacement.
I would greatly appreciate any suggestions.

I have a 1998 E320. Lately when I come to a stop and sit awhile, the temp gauge may climb from 80c to 90c. When I start driving, the temp goes back to 80c. Any suggestions??

My issue is this: I have a 2000 C230 Kompressor. When the engine is warm the crank time is very long. It cranks and cranks and cranks...and cranks and then finally turns over. When the car is cold there is no problem at all. I was told it is either a CAS or Fuel Pressure problem. I took the car to my local indy and they couldn’t replicate the problem. It only happens after the car sits warm for a while. Have you ever run into this?

Masterbenz, I just got this s320 and all power windows are not working. All other power options work. I can't locate a fuse for the windows but checked window lift? Is there a certain fuse for the windows or relay I should check for. Any help is much appreciated.

Hi, my dad died last month, and I am getting his old 60-something Mercedes. I do not know what year it is yet as I just found out I am getting it today.

I thought about taking it to a mechanic but I kind of want to work on it myself. It has my dad's sweat and heart in it, and I want to touch what he touched.

I know that it needs 2 ball joints on the front & it has plexiglass in the drivers side door instead of glass, I think it needs brakes on either front or back. The front seat needs to be replaced, because the springs have given up

So basically this is a project car. Should I work on this, or am I likely to make everything worse since I do not know a ton about cars.

BTW I am also located in Virgina, in Radford. Can you get parts for this car? Either new or used? Will only mercedes parts fit with this car or are there other options? I would very much appreciate your help. Thank you.
