What is service B? An oil change?

It's a 2001 Mercedes E320 with 76,000 miles.

I got a message ing my cluster, Change Key Battery. I changed the 2 2025 batteries. Fine for about a week. Now I am getting the same message again.

I have a 1981 240d diesel. Looks like the front crank seal on motor is leaking. In my area I have to by a front cover set to get this seal( from Orielly auto parts) What kind of job is this to do? I was a Toyota tech for 18 years never been into a Mercedes. Thank You for any comments.

 

I have a simple question for you.. where on my 220E engine do I find the sensor that activates the oil lamp on the dashboard ?? Not the oil pressure but the oil lamp. My lamp is on but the oil pressure is good..

 

I have a 2001 c320 mercedes and the esp warning came on and the car died.
Started it back up and it ran for about three miles, it would hardly run.
I got it home but could not back it into the garage. Let it set then went out started it up and back it into the garage.
Look in the book and it said if esp warning message is displayed ,a malfunction has been detected in the systrm.only paetial engine output will be available.

Has anyone out there ever have this problem?

My 2006 E350 station wagon with 23,000 miles has a greasy odor problem that occurs only after a rain or carwash, but not immediately. The car must stand with the windows up about 3 hours after it has gotten wet.

I have tried to isolate the problem by hosing water, one section at a time; first on the front section of the car, then the middle section of the car, and then the rear section of the car.

I determined that the odor only manifests when the middle of the car is soaked and the car sits for a few hours with the windows up. The motor does not need to be running and the A/C does not have to be on. The dealer cannot find the source of the problem, tried to fix it by thoroughly cleaning the A/C system

After airing out the car, I smelled areas around the doors and as a result suspect that the smell originates in the window wells on each of the 4 doors.

 

I have a 1996 E320 and the EC light will not go out. Any idea what causes this and the best way to fix it (myself if possible...) ??? Many Thanks...

 

Hi, I have a 1984 380 SEL that stalls after running for about 10 minutes, and after stalling it wont start at all.
