Hi members!

Please assist me my parktronics sensors are not giving me ay information. They switch on when Iam starting the vehicle and immediately switch off, and the on/off switch in the dashboard remain on. How can i solve this problem without going to the dealer? I drive a C230 V6 coupe.

 

either there is an interference with a front licence plate or the sensors have been damaged or misaligned. usually either one of these are the issue.

 

Are there any problems if they are left as they are, that is , not functioning as normal. And how can that be rectified if we can assume one is damaged.I say because this on one of them has scratches in the casing that house sensors from the bumper.

 

wont hurt anything if you leave it alone. i think theres a parktronic off switch to mute the parktronic
