My 270CLK CDi auto used to accelerate smoothly from stand still with a constant low or medium throttle but now it hesitates from standstill and allows the revs to build too much before changing up.

I recently had to drive with a lot more throttle due to a split turbo hose which has now been replaced. Do you think that the cause of my current issue relates to that and that the throttle position sensor may need resetting?

 

you need to check transmission oil first before anythin,wats the mileage and wen was oil nd filter renwed,trans oil,if trans oil low or old u ll get this type of problems.....

 

Thanks Naz. 87000 on the clock and had a main dealer service last week! Various filters changed as per service requirements but I don't know about transmission oil.
