OBDII Testing
Hi i have just received my new SLK55 and have had the MIL come on i know why it came on due to my own stupidity and the gas cap.
But when i plugged in my ElmScan 5 the freeze frame data had implausible results the coolant temp and rpm for example where reading way over the cars maximums (coolant was 2,000,000 degrees and the rpm was 11892) do you guys think it could be the ecu playing up or my tester not talking to the car correctly (the tester does support CAN by the way and works on my other merc fine) as everything else seems OK apart from a minor climate issue and apparently there is a test mode for that but so far the 2 key combi's given to me have not worked so if any of you happen to know a code that works for the digital climate control it would be very much appreciated.
Thanks for any advice you can give
Dan
