Smile Need help with radio

Sup guys i have a 300TE Station wagon. And the radio just went out. Its already aftermarket (sony) and i was wondering how to replace it. Ive done many stereos before but was wondering if i have to follow the same directions as uninstalling a factory radio or put the keys in and pull out. Even a step by step would help. Ive done a lot of stereo replacements in the past. But dont want to just tear into this one knowing i can cause damage. Any response would be great Thanks.

I would assume that if somebody has already installed an aftermarket radio that the harnesses that you need are already in place. I would just go off those and install the new radio just like any other....if that makes sense. hope that helps.

Did the stereo die or did a fuse or something simple pop? Always start with the simple (cheap) stuff first and then work toward the complicated (expensive).

If the stereo has an in-line fuse (as many do) you should check that.

No radio def needs to be replaced. Cause the face plate light up. I checked the fuse its intact. I just need to know if its easy to replace and if so how?. Or should i just get it installed.
