Re-install of Becker Grand Prix radio - need help

I've re-installed the original Becker Grand Prix stereo for my 1977 450 SL and I'm only getting dashes instead of the station identification... and no sound whatsoever.

Any ideas...

Radio needs to be recoded. Get a quote from an MB dealer, then call an independent shop to see if they also have the tool. Takes about 15 min. in the service drive. Used to do alot of them back in the day.

I did just that two days ago and the stereo sounds great.
