ok lets start with the brake pads. After jacking up the car, removing the wheel, you must remove the brake calipers. They are held in with two bolts. once removed it may be helpful to secure them with a wire tie while removing the brake pads. the pads come out easily as they are held in my friction with a spring. You MUST have a tool to push the boots of the caliper back into the frame. one they are fully retracted you can install the new pads. There is also one brake pad sensor on each wheel, it simply plugs into the pad, so it may be a good idea to get 2 new ones (1 for each wheel)

The first thing you must do to remove the belt is to remove the Fan shroud. It is actually two peices, the peice closest to the engine you have to rotate and it become lose from the other peice. Once detached from the front peice you must remove the front piece in order to get the back peice out. The front piece is held on by two clips.

After the shroud is completely out you have can get to the belt tensioner. the belt tensioner has a main bolt which is 19mm. Use a long rachet or a breaker bar to losen as it is very tight. once it is loose (but not removed) you can adjust the belt. To adjust the belt there is an adjustment bolt next to the water pump behind the coolant hose, it is sticking straight up and has a hollow inside. the nut is 13 mm, left is loose. install the new belt exactly how the old one was removed, and procede in reverse order to reinstall.

ive included a picture pointing to the spot where the belt tensioner bolt is:
