I have a 85 300TD - the moon-roof is open about halfway and won't close. Not getting any sound when i press the button to open/close. Where should I start? it's going to rain tomorrow afternoon! thanks

 

If your roof is anything like the one on my '89 300E, you can open and close it manually from inside the trunk. Specific instructions are in your owner's manual, but you can find the mechanism (upper left) and figure out what to turn. Then examine motor and cables there.
