hey everyone,

i just got a 2012 e350, and i have a few problems with my ipod (i have a ipod nano 6th gen)

1) the playlists do not show, it says my playlist folder is empty
2) when i go through artists etc, and choose an album, and then a song on that album, it will play that song, but then after that it will play a random song that is on my ipod. even when i have the "keep normal sequence" or whatever that thing is checked, it doesn't matter, it just plays a random song from an entirely different group.

any help would be appreciated

 

figured it out, was using my old cable connector from my old car which had a custom stereo system, and it wasn't recognizing it as an ipod. i used the one the car came with and it worked beautifully
