Hi, just joined - my mom has a 1990 Mercedes 300CE (really nice, esp for a 23-year-old car!), and I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a good independent Mercedes specialist near Pensacola, FL? They've been using Bobby Likis (general repair shop) for most of their repair work, and at times the local Mercedes dealer. Just wondering if there are any other "good" places (or places to avoid) in the area. Currently the car has an undiagnosed oil leak that apparently caused the distributor to fail, and Likis replaced at least the distributor, plugs, wires, and throttle cable (probably not all related to the oil leak, but it is a 23-year-old car) - to the tune of $1300 (seems a bit steep to me, but I'm not sure what else besides those parts was replaced).

Any suggestions or recommendations are greatly appreciated!
