My car is a mb 1986, 190d 2.5L, 5 cylinder engine. My engine worked very smooth until one time the tachometer stopped showing rpm, and at the same time, the engine stopped working smoothly. Does anyone know what kind of problem this is? or what caused it?Or how can I fix this? What is the relations between the idle speed and the tachometer which shows rpm?
