Ok we just recently bought a 93 400SE. Today it started up but battery light came on. All day i have been trying to find the battery on this car. Does any one know where its located? I looked in trunk, under the seat I'm clueless . I'd appreciate any suggestions

 

It is in the right rear of the trunk. Lift the carpet, look on the right side and there will be a big black plastic cover over it. If the car is running and the battery light is on, check the charging voltage because it is likely a alternator/voltage regulator problem. I have seen a few with wiring harness' corroding and causing it too.
