Subject says it all. Car is a 2001 SL500. All of a sudden, when I turn on the ignition and headlights, the washer motor starts to squirt water from the headlight wipers and from the windsield wiper. Then, of course, the reservoir empties out and you can still hear a motor running somewhere near the reservoir area.
Anybody had this happen before? Any ideas??

 

Problem was one of the two washer pumps attached to the washer reservoir. $18. after market part. All fixed.
