Default HEATER FLOW

Hey guys, you guys were helpful during my head gasket dilemma & now I have another prob. My 89 300e 3.0l heater-a/c does not have much flow.also there is not much diff between low speed & high speed. The temp is fine its the amount of air it puts out.Like I said very little diff from high to low..I appreciate any help.I would hate to have to bring my baby to the dlr. Thanks again.

Does the fan speed up when you turn it to a higher speed? If so and the airflow is still poor, it could be the flap door in the fan box or something could be clogging it. Start outside the car where the air comes in, usually at the bottom of the winshield. On my C280 the plastic "grille" that covers the intake holes comes off by pushing in three tabs and sliding the "grille" up. If there is no debris in there, then you will have to pull one of the floor ducts and see if there is a clog. Use a coat hanger, one end bent 180 degrees to probe inside for any blockage. Also check to see if the flap doors are open when the AC or heat is on. How does the air flow from the dash vents?
