i have a 1999 ML320, when i turn the signal switch to the right or left, the headlight go off . Sometimes they get back on when the switch gets back to the middle and sometimes they don't I can get them on again by playing with the switch. What might be the problem and how can i solve this?

 

most likely the whole turn signal switch needs replacement. 9 times out of 10 thats the problem
