I recently purchased a 2006 Mercedes c280. It had a hard brake pedal so I automatically assumed that the issue was a bad brake booster. I installed a new one yesterday, bled all the brakes and the pedal was still hard. Today I swapped out the booster check valve and that also did not fix the problem. At this point I'm stumped. What else could be causing the hard brake pedal on this car?
