Hey Thanks for the translation of OEL 'stuff that luborcates.' but I guess that I was a little vague about the problem.I need to know what kind and how much oil is to be used in the pump?

Thanks
DC

Typically injector pumps uses the same oil as the engine. As a word of caution though, petrol causes above than normal wear on the injector pump , as it's lubricating properties is not as good as diesel.

The oil to use is the same you use in the engine. 1/10 of a quart is about right. Using too much simply runs out via the overflow pipe at the back of the pump. Hope it answers your question.
