Do this car have a fuel pressure regulator?

I don't know. I'm a new Benz owner and have only had this car 2 weeks. I looked for a "fuel pressure regulator" on Google for this car and didn't find one, therefore, I don't think it has one.

Ken,
My guage doe this also particularly when it's below a half a tank. It's kind of erratic. It will jump around andthen simmer down then start jumping again. I saw a diagram once that indicated some kind of butterfly mechanism within a tube that is the device that measures fuel level. I figure this mechanical thing has some gum on it and just doesn't work like it should any more. I've been using Lucas fuel treatment in the gas that seems to help. I have a 190e.

Mine is a 190 D. I'm going to give the sending unit a good cleaning and see what happens. Thanks everyone!

Hey there,
I just wanted to report that my gauge has not jumped for the last two tankfills of gas. I have a 1986 190e and I have used the Lucas gas treatment in my tank for the previous three tankfulls. I believe the gas treatment cured the jumping fuel gauge.
