Default Free Loaner Car?

My car needs it's first 1k-3K service- so I scheduled and appointment. When I did so- she asked if I needed a loaner car. Without thinking I said yes- even though I really don't need it- the Benz rarely gets driven- I have another car for work. I thought I remembered reading somewhere that you received a free loaner car when the car was still under warranty- but I can't remember where. If it's free- hell yes I will drive a Benz to work for a day- but if I have to pay for it- the usual Ford Focus to work will be just fine.

Anyone know if this is the case?

nevermind- answered my own question- as long as you are under warranty and the repairs will take more than an hour- they hook you up.

Without the loaner car, someone else will have to drive you to the dealer to pick-up your car.

It wouldn't have been that big of a deal- the dealer isn't too far away. Besides there is a good place to eat right near there that my fiance and I both like. Dropped the car off today- and they hooked me up with a loaner. Although it wasn't a Benz (a Toyota)- it will save some miles on the work car (Focus).
