Excessive Oil in Air Filter Housing

Excessive Oil in Air Filter Housing
1980 Diesel 300CD. There is an excessive amount of engine oil being blown into the air filter housing, cloging the filter and accumulating in the bottom of the housing, draining out of the bottom thru two small existing holes, onto the ground.
This is a new situation, and not a gradual buildup, but occuring after only 10/15 minutes of engine time.
I have cleaned all related parts and fittings attached to the housing and ensured it is properly seated in the tubes and intakes on the engine. Again, this is not the usual gradual buildup of oil residue, but alot of oil, enough to puddle in the housing and on the ground.
I apoligize if this message appears more than once. I made previous errors in posting in the wrong place. Sorry.
Thanks for your help. I appreciate the assistance. John
