My oil pressure is sometimes at 3 bar and sometimes at 1.5 bar at hot idle. It does dropoff 3 bar slightly at times also. 137,000 miles, Mobil 1 0w-40, just recently switched from Pentosyn and regular dealer service - too expensive! All maintenance done and on time. Engine quiet (other than a slight whine) and no start up noises or knocks. Anybody experience similar issue? Recommendations? Watch-outs? Has been this way for a long time but doesn;t seem normal compared to my other cars/trucks. Dealer wants to have the car for a week and charge me an arm and leg to tell me nothing as usual and break things to repair them. Appreciate any advice or experiences.
