Hi all,
I have a E350 saloon 59 reg. I was driving home on the motorway when the car lost power. I took it in to my local garage where they diagnosed an injector problem and they replaced an injector. during this work they found the turbo to be faulty and replaced that too. After the garage having my car for 2 weeks i went to pick up my car and drove it off home, it was intermittent with the power and after approx 1 mile cut out totally. They came out put a booster on the battery and the car started but was still running like a bag of spanners. Dropped it back with the garage and they tried to sort out the problem and they took it for a run and it cut out again after 1/2 a mile. They are now saying that they cant get the crank to turn even manually and think i need a new engine! It had an oil and filter change at the same time as the other work. Anyone got any ideas as to what it could be as the garage genuinely have no clue what is wrong,
