Default Coolant temperature display F vs. C

Can anyone tell me how to change the engine coolant display in the dash to read F vs. C. I can't find the detail in the operators manualand I fear it is not changable.

New ML320CDI - love it. super fuel mileage and is very quiet.

Thank you..but that only changes the outside temp gauge, not the engine coolant temp gauge displayreading. Went out to check again just to make sure.

The outside temp gauge is set correctly to F.

I appreciate the suggestion...but looks like I will have to keep looking for the setting sequence.

Looks lilke you are correct. Just have to remember my conversion rule...and ignore the one thing that would have been easy to do for for the US Market. Understand that Canada would not have same problem.

Love the car otherwisee and can overlook this miss.

Thanks for the help.
