My SL500 (96) that I dearly love is getting a little long in the tooth and I'm leaning toward a used SLK. Does anyone have any suggestions about years? For example if there are big changes from 1 to the next and the new model is far superior, I would move up. If the 2007 to 2009 is unchanged, I could go with any, you get the idea. I went to the 96SL as it had a 5 speed auto, still the 4 valves per cylinder, it was red, and I fell in love!! Also it ran and still runs like stink!! I want a driver, not a queen.
