Default Clearing the mileage

On a 2005 E-320 CDI does anyone know how to reset the service mileage indicator. I saw a post on here that explained it for a 2004, think it was a 450 or something and I did print it out. Wondering if it is different for a 2005 diesel though.
Thanks in advance

Default RE: Clearing the mileage

You have an owner's manual it's alll there, If you have the three button on the Pod the top two for Pod lights and the bottom is for these adjustments. If is a 2005 if has to have an owner's manual??

Default RE: Clearing the mileage

Thanks for taking the time to reply to my message. I can bring up the mileage it shows till the next service, it counts down from 13,000 and when you get to 13,000 miles I guess some light comes on. When I get to the menu where it shows how many miles I have left until the 13,000 and I hit the reset button these miles do not reset. I can reset the mileage after I refill the tank with diesel so I guess the reset button is working. Car only has 4500 miles on it so it is showing like 8500 for schedule service, but changed the oil since it had been a year and was going to reset it. There is a place on the cluster that says Settings... To reset Press reset button for 3 seconds, this resets everything back to factory settings. If I did not have to I did not want to do this as I will have to go back and reset everything else. I was told by someone that the dealer has to reset the service interval mileage with a scanner, don't know if that is true though.
Thanks again for your time
