Hello, My name is Precious. I don't know anything about cars. When I take my E320 to the Mercedes place, I feel as if they are ripping me off on parts. They put one part on and it doesn't fix the problem.

While my engine is still running, my car vibrates when I make a stop at a traffic light, stop sign etc. It vibrates so bad, I can hear the vibes when it shakes. when I put it in neutral while at a stand still, it stops.
Can anyone please tell me what can be the problem so when I take it back to the shop I will have an idea what part I need.

could be a transmission mount, could be motor mounts. could be engine missfire, could be stuck EGR valve. could be exhaust pipe hitting the body or frame of the car causing this vibration.

 

I had same problem on my 98 E 320. It was motor mounts.I put new ones and it is smooth as it should be. have them check motor and tranny mounts.
