a/c off light will not turn off
2002 CL500- i was playing with the buttons the other day to see if my a/c works and now i can't get the a/c off button to deactivate. in other words, the a/c off light is on constantly and the a/c doen't work. i think i checked the r134a pressure to see if it was some safety feature when a/c charge was low, but it hit the meter at 60-65 psi (assuming I connected the charger/guage to the right tube). any thoughts? i think this might be one for the dealer ($$$$$).

i suspected a low charge at first, but, as i said above, i plugged into the a/c tube and the gauge went up to 60-65 psi (unless i plugged into the wrong tube. . . it was the only tube that fit the coupling on my a/c recharge gun i use all the time on my e class. the other a/c looking tube had a orifice that was too big to fit my a/c charge gun).
